Music Theory
I offer beginning and advanced music theory concepts such as keys, modes, advanced chord progression construction, and jazz chord progression theory.

  • As an experienced music educator, I have four decades of music education and professional experience.
  • My classical performance and training is extensive, having trained and performed as a soloist as well as in chamber music and as an orchestral musician.
  • I live and breathe jazz. My teaching of jazz styles is based on developing improvisation skills emphasizing melodic construction, harmony, style analysis, solo transcription, singing, and rhythmic development.
